The gang in Prince Rupert

Most of the Daybreak crew spent the day on the picket line in Prince Rupert today. This might be the most feet on the CBC sidewalk in about ten years! Starting from the left we have Associate Producer Ian Geisbrecht, Acting Producer Alannah Stuart, Host Russell Bowers, Daybreak After Dark coordinator and Casual Associate Producer Leena Minifie, Host James Evans and the happy smile of Reporter Karen Kwan.

In addition to picketing, everyone has been hard at work getting ready for the Friday night festivities at the Tom Rooney PLayhouse. Please check out my previous blog entry for all the details on Daybreak After Dark, Daybreak's official stage debut.

In tomorrow's entry I'll bring more details on the show as well as a summary of the CMG/CBC negotiations to date.

Thanks for tuning in!

-Andrea Palmer, Daybreak Researcher and Casual Associate Producer
